The Cider House West is a unique holiday home suitable for two people or small family in the village of Westcombe in the heart of Somerset. With miles of glorious dog friendly walks (we like dogs) direct from your door, great restaurants and hostelries including our award winning village pub the house is perfect for a true rural escape. Short or long term.

The market town of Bruton is 10 minutes, Glastonbury Festival 15 minutes and the wonderful cities of Bath & Wells approx 30 minutes.

The Cider House is a recently renovated studio style self-contained cottage. On the ground floor is a sitting area with log burner, a well equipped galley kitchen and breakfast bar. There is also a wet room and lavatory. The mezzanine has an extremly comfortable double bed with fine Indian cotton sheets. In the corner a double headed bath, big enough for two awaits.

I picked this place because of the amazing reviews and everything that people have mentioned is absolutely true. There is no expense spared on the Cider house and it makes it a truly wonderful place to stay.

This was the most lovely cottage we could have imagined. We felt so at home and would love to return.
